Acceptable Use Policy

Last Updated: 11/7/2026

Python Studio is built to be a safe, accessible educational platform. Because our platform allows you to execute Python code, strict rules apply to how you use the execution environment.

1. Browser-Based Execution

Your Python code runs locally within your own web browser using Pyodide (WebAssembly). While this provides a secure sandbox isolated from our servers, you are still prohibited from running malicious code on your own machine or attempting to break out of the browser sandbox.

2. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to use Python Studio to:

  • Write, execute, or distribute malware, ransomware, viruses, or destructive scripts.
  • Launch network attacks (e.g., DDoS), port scans, or attempt unauthorized access against external systems or APIs.
  • Engage in credential theft, phishing, or social engineering.
  • Mine cryptocurrencies or perform unauthorized distributed computing.
  • Bypass or attempt to bypass the authentication, rate limiting, or security controls of Python Studio.
  • Scrape, spam, or abuse the AI Mentor API with malicious or automated requests.
  • Store illegal, explicit, or heavily copyrighted material in your projects.

3. Enforcement

While we do not actively monitor the contents of every code execution (as they run locally in your browser), we reserve the right to investigate reports of abuse. If we determine that an account is violating this policy, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate the account immediately without notice.

4. Educational Sandbox Limitations

Python Studio is an educational tool. It is not designed to be a production hosting environment. We do not guarantee that the browser sandbox can detect or prevent every potentially harmful script you write. You are solely responsible for the code you choose to execute.
